Is there any way to reduce side effects of external Radiation for Thyroid cancer? - thyroid cancer more condition_symptoms

My mother has cancer of the thyroid anaplastic. She began treatment for external radiation (one week is over and another 5 weeks to go)

Not really. To treat the side effects that occur. Check your doctor should be about once a week for his treatment. He should be able to disturb something to give to during the treatment. I had a sore throat and radiation also has the shingles. But they were right in some treatments.
Best wishes

I'm sorry your mother is with her. Below is a link to a John Hopkins supported treatment that can significantly reduce the normal side effects.
All the best for you and your mother.
